NURSING AT CNCC

At CNCC, we believe nursing is both an art and also science. Becoming a nurse requires an interest as well as aptitude for science, clearly developed critical thinking and specialized abilities, and the capability to render human comfort and also kindness.
Our vision is to provide a top quality education that prepares graduates to become qualified nursing professionals who deliver the total spectrum of nursing care to diverse populations in ever-changing health-care surroundings.
One feature that truly sets the CNCC Nursing Program aside is our dedication to customer support and pupil advising. In addition, the applicant pool from which we accept pupils is relatively low when compared with other nursing programs. If you meet all the prerequisites for entry, chances are good you’ll be approved right away.
As a vital part of CNCC’s Craig Campus, the Nursing program offers an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. After successful two years of full-time training work following completion of requirement courses. Following graduation, Graduates qualify to obtain the National Council of State Board of Nursing Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become certified to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
CNCC also provides an affiliated Nurse Aide course. Following completion of the 4 credit class-rooms/lab as well as concurrent one credit clinical training, students become qualified to take a Nurse Aide Certification Exam to become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA).
